- Child Protection/ clinical Supervision – I have been providing supervision to specialist safeguarding colleagues for many years. In 2017 I completed the NSPCC Safeguarding Supervision Skills in order to refresh these skills. I am conversant with a number of models of supervision and incorporate reflection, psychological support and practice development. I have experience of delivering both individual and group supervision sessions.

-Design of bespoke training packages, briefings, workshops. I have been developing & updating safeguarding training packages for both health and multi-agency colleagues e.g. Police, Children’s Social Care, Early Years, Probation. Some examples are Prevent, Domestic Abuse, Bruising, Burns and Scalds Protocol and Learning from serious case reviews..
- Delivery of training packages, briefings, workshops as above. I also have experience of developing and delivering bespoke training packages to non-professional groups such as a Muslim Women’s Group.
- Evaluation of training packages to ensure they are compliant with requirements.
- Individual Management Review (IMR) Reports & Chronologies. For a number of years I have been the Chair of the LSCB Safeguarding Practice Review Sub-Group (previously called serious case reviews) and Deputy Chair of the standing Panel for the Domestic Homicide Review Group.
